Here goes:
Part of the campaign I ran for fundraising for our company included my solicitations to businesses for their support.
I received a phone call from one of the businesses who supported my/our efforts this morning. The General Manager of the entire chain had contacted the GM of the local business, and after much chatting, decided to propose a partnership with our company.
This partnership will include a percentage of all proceeds for 'event nights' to go towards our fundraising efforts. Said event nights can occur as frequently as we wish them to - even once a week if it is our choosing. Our company would in turn create a flyer, detailing the event and our partnership, which is additional marketing for our company as, in fact, we are not allowed to market ourselves as most businesses are, per regulations.
I. am. so. fucking. ecstatic. I. want. to. squee.
Now I must sit by and wait for the woman in charge of all charity events/donation drives/etc. to come back to work (on the 30th) so we can chat before going to the table with said business.
Holy. Shit.
