Alright. Some jackass has decided to load my site with his jackass comments of jackass html links to jackass sites.

Jackass.

Comments are again disabled. And no, I probably will not be reinstating them again.

Baby Hedgehogs! Squeee!

More Here

In other news, work still goes. You didn't think it would, did you? Yeah, but it does. I still like my job. I even like my new boss. I don't like being undercompensated and the long hours that have erupted from the dump of work that just landed in my lap. In the meantime, I'm balancing, while waiting for my second interview on Wednesday, and hoping that somehow I can come out on top by the end of the year.

Silly Bricks Telling Bible Stories

The Brick Testament. Awesome.

If you are easily offended by shit like this, don't go here.

Of course, this is against the law. Our law. God's law. You know. The Law.

Not to mention dangerous.

I didn't get the job

Alright. I heard a bit of pissing and moaning for me not updating for a while, and then the pissing and moaning grew louder and from a greater audience when I didn't manage to make a post about 'Teh Possible Promotion'.

It took the Big Swede to convince me. And thus now I update.

I didn't get the job. But then, the dickhead who was in probably position to take it screwed up so badly that every department refused to work for him, and the hiring people decided ummmm... maybe he wasn't a good choice. The woman who got the job is smart, talented, friendly, and firm, and sticks up for her people; it was a good choice. I could have done it, but she was a good choice.

This means no money for me. I've apped for another position, something that promises to give me a pay raise, as well as put me on a track I am more interested in. We'll see. In the meantime, my VPs think by giving me even more work and responsibilities that equal four-five paybands above me, while keeping my pay at a position lower than a secretary, they're going to keep me and make me happy for the 'privilege'.

People are astonishingly blind and or stupid, sometimes.

Now then. The Big Swede has his answers.
