Webpages For Yous!

Ok.

This is not for my sister, but was ganked from my friend Stephanie, who has a peculiar, enjoyable sense of humor.

I am continually impressed with Joe's work.

I don't want to go back to work.

Fundraising Revisited

Hey. I know everyone's still recuperating from the holiday spendings and owed taxes, so I'm not expecting anything. But for those of you who are interested in donating and have any funds available for such things (even $1 or $2), my friend Carmelo is walking in a Cancer walk this February 25th, and is raising money for the drive.

If you are interested in donating, go here.

The end.

Rate Whose Bunny?

Miss Parshall: this site is for you.

Also, you would love our new place, since there are hundreds of bunnies everywhere. Ok, not hundreds, but I saw a good twenty this morning when I went to work out. Woot!

Lunch with Teh CoWorker

Ok. So, for the first eight months of me here at work, there was a particular someone who made my life more difficult, mainly because she was stubborn, pigheaded, forgetful, and otherwise made my job extremely difficult at times. I thought she was just an ornery cuss who secretly reveled in making life difficult; well, she always wore a scowl and talked with that kind of a voice, so what was I supposed to think?

In December, I hit lunch with a bunch of 'administrators' and 'executive secretaries' and so forth as a Christmas exchange sort of deal. She was there, and it turns out, she wasn't near as bad as I thought. It was confusing because for the first time I saw her relax a little, and it turned me for a loop.

So a couple of weeks ago she randomly sends me an invite for a lunch, and I accept. The lunch was yesterday.

And she's really, really nice. And smart. And honest. It was odd, pleasantly so. I am rarely wrong about people - my intuition is usually right on - but I was totally off about her.

So um... Yay. =)
