Arrangement, 1st vs., complete
Dear Miss Parshall,
You must make yourself available to me in telephone and email form, so that I may email you the finished Product of Teh MuziKal arrangement. Well, the mostly finished product, currently, seeing as how I am still attempting to figure out how to get Finale to do my every bidding.
Then, we must Discuss things over Zeh Telephone.
And finally, I will soon post a picture of bunnies stolen from Fark (when I am home tonight) to please the Parshall Gods.
Thankyouthankyouhotdoghotdogcomeagain.

Updates: Music, Friends, Activities, Work, Snow
Well, I haven't updated in a while here, so I figured I might babble on a bit for those of you who are A) interested and B) don't really read my LJ. I apologize in advance if you do not fall under both categories. So without further ado:
My Update, DumDum:
1. I have made some pretty kick ass progress on the piece that I am arranging for Julie and I for the upcoming Christmas Eve service we'll be performing at. I'm pretty close to finished, and believe I can draw it to a close this weekend, if I set my mind to it. I made a few modifications when I realized belatedly I had Julie playing three notes in unison on only two strings. Thankfully, it was the opening segment and easily modified by drifting the third up into my line. No big whoop there. I hope to get the file out to her by November 1st, complete with all modifications, but I'm a little screwy with getting Finale to do exactly as I want it, so currently there are no swells or crescendos or similar markings, and likewise I have not put in tempo changes to where it is visible. I might just have to hand write it, which won't be so terrible, I suppose.
2. I'm heading out to Las Vegas Monday night to meet up with my sister and her... Hmmm. I don't know what to call Justin. For those of you out of the loop, my sister and her husband are going through a divorce (and have been for a while now, held up because she's too damn lazy to get the papers signed.) Since then, she's been having lots of wonderful sex and much spoilage by some guy I have yet to meet. Except now, of course, he'll be there, and I'll get to torment him incessantly. We'll see how that goes.
While we're there, we are going to a Cirque del Soleil performance (I THINK it's Zoomania, but I might be wrong) and hitting a few clubs. I return Wednesday night late in order to make a stupid meeting on Thursday. Thanks to my recent blood donation, I get an extra day off for frivolties there.
3. My hair is -short-. Not bald, but chin length, and in a style I haven't worn before. It just sorta happened, but the longer I have it, the better I like it. Was quite the change, though - the hair stylist cut nearly three inches off. I almost peed my pants.
4. I have a lot of political, esoteric, financial, and time management issues on my mind currently, but strangely enough, the more that it seems that I think about these things, the less I am willing to post about it. Not out of bashfulness or other such crap, but mainly because if I'm thinking about it incessantly, why on earth do I want to spend the time typing the stuff out? Dunno. Anyhow.
5. The dentist's office has asked me to stay on longer. (I work there on Saturdays, and on Fridays that I have off, which brings my work week to 55 hours a week.) I tentatively agreed, but I'm not certain I really want to. I need the money, no bones about it. And, I'm not getting shit for requesting the occasional day or two off for other things, like the Bret Varnum (5th degree blackbelt) seminar on October 29th, or my trip to LA last month. And they're totally backing down on the drama. (There's this new girl who was trying to raise drama, and I told my coworker and good friend Naja that she knows me better than that, and if she expected me to tolerate the drama, I would walk away from the job.) But I'm also getting tired. Anyhow. We'll see.
6. I still don't have a kitty.
7. Christian, if you're reading this, you really need to email me, punk.
8. Had a great dinner over at The Big Swede's at the beginning of October. It was fun. His daughter is way, WAY too adorable for her own good; he'll need a shotgun when she's older. Love his wife too. Good people. Good food.
9. Only 8 more weeks until I get to tromp around in snow. Horray!
